Welcome to the Resources page

Here you’ll find a curated collection to support your personal growth, recovery, and healing. Whether you’re

exploring recovery options, seeking guidance on specific challenges, or simply looking for tools to navigate

life’s complexities, these resources offer practical help and encouragement. Remember, some of the

resources may not be valuable for you, yet they are for others. Achieving your end goal is a deeply personal

journey with no two people having the same path. Doing a combination of coaching and/or RIM® with these

resources will give you the best chance of achieving the goal(s) you have for yourself.

Here, you’ll find downloadable PDFs or links to resources in each section tailored to address unique aspects

of what you may be dealing with, whether it's grappling with loneliness, working through men’s issues, or

confronting problematic sexual behaviors. This is your space to find support, more about yourself, and

actionable steps forward.

Please note we do not get any remuneration for links listed in the following sections. Also, many resources

are available that provide similar services to those mentioned. Please use these resources as starting points

to look around and find the best resource to fit your needs

Coaching

Coaching can take on many forms. There is that of a guide, a mentor, an ICF-accredited coach, or someone who calls you out and is more in your face. While coaching is broad, we wanted to provide resources for you to explore the wide world of coaching.

Here are some websites that will provide more information on what coaching is to give you a better understanding of how it is different from therapy and consulting.

  • Coach Masters Academy- This company provides professional training for coaches and is where Conrad Lipic received his training.

  • Coaching.com- Coaching.com has a nice read on what coaching is not. It explains why coaching is not mentoring, therapy, or consulting.

  • Inernational Coaching Federation (ICF)- This is the homepage of the ICF, where you can find out more information about coaching and explore their structure and code of ethics.

  • Wikipedia- No list of what coaching would be complete without a Wikipedia nod. Here is the write-up on Wikipedia.

The following are books that are commonly recommended to clients. As new books start to be recommended, this list will be updated.

  • The Four Agreements- Don Miguel Ruiz breaks down the cure for suffering in these four agreements. Brought on by his own experiences, he speaks from the heart and shares what he has learned with you. His work finds its way into our coaching services.

  • The Success Principles- Coaching.com has a nice read on what coaching is not. It explains why coaching is not mentoring, therapy, or consulting.

Loneliness

Loneliness can be one of the most painful and challenging aspects of recovery and life. It often surfaces as a barrier to connection, healing, and self-acceptance. This section offers pathways out of isolation and into meaningful connections with others and yourself.

Here is a list of websites to check out to help combat your loneliness. The best way is to get out of your home and in a public place doing an activity you enjoy.

  • Bumble BFF- This is the same app as the dating app, but used for making friends. It could be a good way to make a new friend or two. Just beware: less-than-honest individuals can use it as a hookup app.

  • Eventbrite- A social platform used to host and find events in your area. A great way to get out and find events in your area that interest you.

  • Facebook Events- Many events get posted to Facebook. Even small towns have events posted. Check here regularly for events in your area. It’s also a good way to connect with people that you meet at the events.

  • Meetup- No list of what coaching would be complete without a Wikipedia nod. Here is the write-up on Wikipedia.

Men’s Issues

As men, we often face unique challenges rooted in societal expectations, emotional suppression, and the weight of masculinity norms. These pressures can isolate us, creating barriers to vulnerability and self-discovery. This section provides resources specifically aimed at helping men reconnect with their authentic selves. Being a man is hard enough. The following resources may be referenced in sessions from time to time.

The following are some reading materials that you can use to help give you new skills or to change your thinking.

  • How to Be a Gentleman- Learn the skills you need to succeed in life as a man. While not addressing men’s issues, it can help to identify how to be a better person.

  • Emily Post’s Etiquette- This is the book to go to for the original guide on conducting yourself. This is not necessarily a men’s issues book, per se, but it guides how to conduct yourself when etiquette is needed, which can help save face and confidence.

  • The Four Agreements- Don Miguel Ruiz breaks down the cure for suffering in these four agreements. Brought on by his own experiences, he speaks from the heart and shares what he has learned with you. His work finds its way into our coaching services.

  • The Success Principles- Jack Canfield has struck gold with this book. If you want to look into your life and see how to make changes and why, this is where you should go. You’ll find some of his teachings in our coaching sessions.

This list of documents will be updated as more are introduced. Look at these and think through them, as they can help shift your thinking.

The following websites can provide more information on men’s issues. Please note The Gentleman’s Gazette is more traditional, but being a man can be any style you want as long as it is tasteful and not vulgar or obscene.

  • Massmen- The state of Massachusetts put together an easy-to-read overview of issues men in their state experience. This is not just for men in Massachusetts, but a list of problems and issues men worldwide can experience.

  • Men’s Resource Center- This organization out of Michigan details men's struggles. It is a more in-depth look than Massmen.

  • The Art of Manliness- Provides useful, actionable, no-fluff content to help men become better men in all areas of their life.

  • The Gentleman’s Gazette- This website provides valuable knowledge about dressing and feeling like a gentleman.

Problematic Sexual Behaviors

Understanding and addressing problematic sexual behaviors is a brave and vital step toward recovery. This section offers practical tools and compassionate guidance to help you explore the root causes of these behaviors and build healthier patterns. Recovery is possible with the right help and support.

The following books are a good start for those struggling with problematic sexual behaviors.

Recovery Groups:

Recovery is unique for everyone. You should try at least three different groups (we also say try Recovery Dharma as that is the only non-12-step group on the list) and attend several different meetings at least twice. We say this as sometimes there is an off night for a meeting, or some longer-standing core members may not be in a meeting. Give the groups a chance and find your “home” group. This is the meeting you attend each week like clockwork. We also recommend that you attend 90 meetings in 90 days. A minimum of one a day for 90 days.

  • Porn Addicts Anonymous- This group is designed with porn addicts in mind. It’s a 12-step approach to assisting porn addicts with their struggles. If porn is your only vice, this group will most likely be where you find yourself drawn to, as you’ll be able to relate to others here.

  • Recovery Dharma- This is the go-to for those who struggle to believe in a higher power or do not want a religious feel to their recovery. This organization provides meetings using Buddhist philosophies focusing on the Four Noble Truths. Bonus: they meditate in each session!

  • Sexaholics Anonymous- If you need a very strict group and structure, this is for you. They lean very Christian and are not for everyone. But if you identify as deeply Christian, this may be your group.

  • Sex Addicts Anonymous- This was the original 12-step group for sex addicts. Your basic 12-step group is based on AA meetings and principals.

  • Sex and Love Addicts Anonymous- Love should not be overlooked. If you struggle not only with sexual acting out but also with love issues, this is the group for you. It’s important to address both and be around others who can provide support and understand what you’re going through.

  • Sexual Compulsives Anonymous- When you feel compulsions to act out, this is a good group to look into. They focus not only on recovery but also on addressing and overcoming compulsive behaviors.

RIM®

Regenerating Images in Memory is a favorite of Conrad Lipic’s. It first came to our attention in 2020, but it wasn’t until 2024 that Mr. Lipic experienced it and began training. RIM® was created by Dr. Deborah Sandella, who still practices and trains facilitators today. Check out the following two websites to learn more about this transformative modality.
